Guru Nanak Modern School came alive on 3rd April 2024 as the school opened it’s gate to welcome the students for the first day of new academic session 2024-25. The students joined back the school with mixed emotions and feelings of excitement and thrill.
The new academic session was commenced with a special assembly which was conducted by the joint efforts of junior and senior students. The assembly started with the Mool Mantra followed by English Prayer and School Song. The recital of melodious school song motivated children to be committed and assiduous in all their future endeavours.
There was a special Badge Ceremony for the Class Captains and Prefects which infused in them the spirit of leadership.
Also, to promote the Global Sustainable Goals, each class from III to XII has adopted a SDG for the new session.
Disciplinary and Environmental Pledge was taken by students for saving the Mother Nature and protecting the school norms.
Beautiful presentations of choir kept the students captivated and enthralled throughout the assembly.
The assembly ended with an inspiring speech of Mr. Balwinder Singh, the Principal of G.N.M.S. He shared the mantra of every day happiness with the students and also encouraged students to integrate the core values like kindness and understanding in their daily lives.
He wished everyone an accomplished and knowledge-filled academic year ahead.
